Why Use Lifephoto to Make Photo Products?
- No need to download anything. You do not need to add anything to your computer to use Lifephoto. You simply upload your photos to your private, completely secure, free account on our site.
- It’s fast. Uploading generally takes no more than a few minutes.
- Lifephoto is both Mac and PC friendly. It doesn’t matter what type of computer you have.
- We give you plenty of space. You can store as many photos as you’d like in personal folders that you create and name. Your photos will remain there for as long as you choose to keep them so that you can make books, cards, calendars and other photo products at a later time or using another computer. Once you finish projects, you’ll be able to share them with family and friends by e-mail. Your account is password protected.
- Enjoy uncommon features. Lifephoto offers options that many providers of press-printed photo products don’t. For example, you can use your own photos or other scanned material as page backgrounds rather than being restricted to stock backgrounds.
- It’s free. There are never any fees for having an account.
- You won’t be stuck with something that’s not up to par. We put great care into ensuring our products are of the highest quality, but let us know if something’s not right. Satisfaction is guaranteed.
- You will not find self-designable photo books of better quality. Compare the sturdiness of Lifephoto bindings to those of most other self-designable photo books. We are confident you will delight in the look and feel of your book.
- While many print providers offer either press-printed or photographic prints, we give you the ability to order either our Earthtrue recyclable prints or traditional prints on photographic paper.
Longer Lasting
Our digital prints are long lasting and as environmentally friendly as you will find, with the major convenience factor of delivery right to you. Lifephoto uses only archival quality, acid-free paper. Kodak technology helps us create prints with better fade resistance than traditional photographic prints. The digital print process is chemical free and employs dry inks that were designed for use without colorants linked to health and safety concerns.

* The light fade characteristics are determined using an accelerated test by exposing the print sample to different light sources. Typical light sources are 50k lux xenon lamp or 80k lux fluorescent lamps, which are used with and without filters to provide the desired light exposure. The tests are carried out by preparing unit density patches for all colorants and exposing them to various light conditions. The “end of print life” is determined when the unit density patch loses 30% of its original density. This test is in accordance with ANSI IT.9-1996 and ISO 10977 standards.
